BIRATNAGAR, July 9: The District Court Morang has given a clean chit to exam superintendent Dr. Uddhav Pokharel, who was accused of breaching the decorum of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) Examinations.

The court has however slapped a penalty of Rs. 25,000 on Manish Soni Swarnakar, the operator of Excel Academy Coaching Centre, which had allegedly leaked the question papers prior to beginning of the examinations. [break]

A single bench of chief judge of the District Court Morang, Meghnath Bhattarai gave the rulings.

Similarly, the court also handed out clean chits to deputy superintendant duo Ravi Rokka and Dilli Pokharel and Supervisor Bipin Bhagat, who were facing similar charges.

The court issued verdicts stating that action is not required against the accused since no evidence was found regarding the supply of the question papers from Biratnagar-17-based Star Boarding Centre before the start of the examinations.
