KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has left for Qatar.
Lingden went to Doha on Wednesday night to participate in various programs organized by the party-affiliated Pravasi Nepali Ekta Samaj Qatar.
RPP to stay neutral in Koshi province: Chairman Lingden
During his stay in Qatar, Lingden will meet and interact with various Nepali organizations and the Nepali community, get information about the problems and conditions of Nepali workers, discuss various issues with the officials of the Nepali embassy and also participate in a special program organized by the Nepali Diaspora Unity Society, said RPP spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha.
RPP central member and head of the party's central migration department Anand Adhikari also participated in the Qatar visit party led by Chairman Lingden.
Spokesman Shrestha said that before going to Qatar, Chairman Lingden gave senior vice chairman of the party Buddhiman Tamang the responsibility of party’s acting chairman.
It is said that Lingden will return on September 30.
