A royalist leader Kishori Mahato claimed that only constitutional monarchy can pave the way for a prosperous Nepal. "I am ready to sacrifice my life for the revival of constitutional monarchy," said Mahato, adding that Nepal should have the identity of a Hindu kingdom.
He also accused the political parties of being opportunists. “Sooner or later monarchy will be reinstated,” he claimed.
