KATHMANDU, May 14: Save the Children on Thursday denied reports that Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo made a $7 million donation towards its earthquake relief effort in Nepal.
Save the Children in its website stated that, "The global ambassador for Save the Children, Cristiano Ronaldo, has used his voice and his global visibility to raise awareness of the problems faced by the most vulnerable children around the world, including those affected by the earthquake in Nepal."
The website further adds, "But the latest information regarding an alleged donation from Ronaldo to the emergency response of Save the Children in Nepal is false."
