The areas prohibited for demonstrations, rallies and mass meetings include Pushpalal Chowk, Dhamboji Chowk, BP Chowk, Ganeshman Singh Chowk and Tribhuvan Chowk.
Similarly, the Ratna Highway from Surkhet´s Babai River to the Indian border and areas falling within 500 meters from the highway from Kusum of Dang to Bardiya´s Man River have been declared restricted area.
According to Chief District Officer Ganesh Khatri, the restriction that will be in effect until March 18 has been imposed after mobs attacked police and public vehicles in various places .
