KATHMANDU, June 20: The district administrations in the Kathmandu Valley have decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory orders in the Valley by a week.
With this, the orders will remain in force until June 28.
The orders which were first introduced for a week starting April 29 were extended several times and are due to expire on Monday midnight.
According to the chief district officer of Kathmandu district, Kali Prasad Parajuli, private vehicles will be allowed to operate on an odd-even basis. Similarly, taxi services will also operate based on the odd-even system. However, other public transportation services are yet to resume.
