KATHMANDU, May 19: A branch manager of Global IME Bank has been found dead in Jhapa.
Banker Pitambar Khadka, 42, was found hanging at his residence in Laxmi Marg of Damak Municipality-8, Jhapa, police said.

Khadka was serving as the branch manager of the bank’s Biratnagar branch.
According to preliminary details, he had made a Facebook post prior to the incident, mentioning the names and photos of four individuals and stating that he was compelled to take the step due to them. One of those named is reportedly the bank’s chief executive officer.
Police said the body has been sent to Damak Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Further investigation is currently underway.
