KATHMANDU, April 10: The cast and crew of 'Resham Filili' gathered in Tripureshwar on Thursday to launch the film posters and speak about the film which is all set to be released on April 24 across Nepal.

The film has Vinay Shrestha, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Menuka Pradhan, Karma and Shisheer Bangdel portraying interesting characters.

During the conference, actor Shrestha stated that the film had tied up with Rose Foundation for a charitable cause. He said, "We usually only think about the product when we are making a film. Now with Rose Foundation, we're working to help underprivileged children receive proper education. We have some merchandise, like t-shirts, key chains and caps, from the film whose proceeds will go to Rose Foundation."

'Jaalma', the very popular song from the film, has more than 1.9 million views on YouTube. The song's popularity has further increased the anticipation of the film's release among its fans. The film's promo also crossed 200,000 views within two days of its release online. Producer Madhav Wagle said, "We have invested two years in this film and I'm very happy with Pranab's work. I can guarantee that 'Resham Filili' is extremely entertaining. Two of the main characters are from the hilly and tarai regions, so the film will appeal to everyone."

Director Pranab Joshi said that 'Jaalma' popularity didn't put any pressure on him as a director.

The film takes the audience on a journey of friendship between Resham (Vinay Shrestha) and Hariya (Kameshwor Chaurasiya) who are on the run from Dorje Don (Shisheer Bangdel).
