The first posters for the 'Resident Evil' filmmaker’s new video game adaptation 'Monster Hunter' have been released! In the game, the player essays the role of a hunter who is supposed to hunt and kill various monsters. She is a member of UN military forces who fall into a portal to an alternate world where the hunters fight giant monsters.

Milla Jovovich will be seen as Captain Natalie Artemis while the rest of the cast includes Tony Jaa, T.I., Ron Perlman, Meagan Good and Diego Boneta. The film will be helmed by Paul W. S. Anderson.

Paul has also written the script of the film. Meanwhile, this is not the first time the filmmaker is directing the video-game based flick. He has helmed the first 'Resident Evil' movie, as well as the latter sequels Afterlife, Retribution and 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter'.


The film will hit the theatres on September 4th.
