His remarks come amid social media reports claiming that Prime Minister Karki had advised Energy Minister Kulman Ghising, Sports Minister Bablu Gupta, and Kharel himself to step down, allegedly for prioritising political activities over their ministerial responsibilities.

Kharel clarified, “The Prime Minister has not asked anyone to resign. There is no truth to these claims.”
