Reconstruction Fund receives Rs 62.4 million so far

Different physical structures of public, government offices, local levels and private sector were damaged during the protest.  The government had requested to general people, private sector, Non-Resident Nepalis, development partners, donor agencies, industrialists and different organisations to contribute to the fund.

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: The 'Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund' established by the government for the reconstruction of physical structures damaged from arson and vandalism during Gen-Z protest occurred on September 8 and 9 has received Rs 62.4 million so far.



According to a Spokesperson at the Finance Ministry, Tanka Prasad Pandey, said such an amount was deposited in the fund till Monday evening.

A bank account, 1960100102070004, has been opened at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Singha Durbar branch for the reconstruction fund.
