Shah shared that 76 inmates have been kept on the rooftop of the jail building after setting up an enclosure by using corrugated sheets. The inmates have to stay in a long line to use the toilet due to overcrowding.

A guard Manoj Kumar Baitha shared that the prisoners were facing sheer difficulties to sleep during night.

The concerned government bodies were informed about the plight, but no initiatives have been taken so far, according to Baitha.
