Jit Bahadur Khamcha of Simalpani VDC-5 raped his daughter on Teej festival day last year.
A single bench of District Judge, Madhavendra Raj Regmi, gave the verdict of the jail sentence on the charge of incest.
Record Keeper at the District Court, Govinda Ghimire, said the girl can get a compensation of Rs. 50,000 from the defendant through the government.
