Tikaram Basnet,36, of Sotang in the district was sentenced by District Judge Sita Prasad Pokharel to 12 years in jail for rape and an additional 10 years on offense related to incest. [break]
Mr Basnet, who had repeatedly raped his daughter, was arrested on June 8, 2012.
The Court has also announced a compensation of Rs. 150,000 to the victim.
