TIKAPUR, Nov 22: Nagrik Unmukti Party’s candidate in Kailali-1, Ranjita Shrestha, has extended her lead in the constituency. Shrestha is leading with a margin of 2,527.
Shrestha, who is also the president of the party, has obtained 7,522 votes, while former minister Ramjanam Chaudhary, who is also a central member of the Nepali Congress, is second with 4,525 votes.
Over 650,000 obtain NOCs to study abroad in the past 15 years
Likewise, Tapendra Bahadur Rawal of CPN-UML has secured 1,518 votes, Lokendra Kunwar of RPP received 938 votes and Tanka Prasad Dhungana of Rastriya Swatantra Party has bagged 468 votes.
Altogether 15,724 votes have been counted in the constituency so far.
