A bench of Judge Rajesh Kumar Kafle ordered to send the alleged contract killers, Manaraj Gurung of Dolakha and Pramesh Chauhan of Ramechhap, into judicial custody.
Although Gurung and Chauhan have denied the charges, Judge Kafle issued the order on the basis of witness statements.Twelve years after the crime, police had arrested Gurung and Chauhan last month in the charge of killing Engineer Hemant Shrestha and his wife Anjali, who were living in a rented flat of Geeta Khadka at Ranibari, Kathmandu.
