He has secured 99 out of 100 in optional maths, 97 marks in science, 91 in compulsory maths, 90 in population studies and 83 in Nepali. He has secured these marks without extra tuition. Born in 2049 BS in Ilam, Giri had joined Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir in the ninth grade. Prior to this, he had attended various schools in Ilam, Panchthar, Dhankuta and Sunsari. He had to change various schools in his school life due to the nature of his father´s job, who is a government employee.In future, Giri plans to join politics. "I have interest in medicine and literature as well," Giri, who is an avid follower of political news, said.
