Rajini admitted to hospital over fluctuating BP

Super star Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospitals right here on Friday after the 70-year-old actor’s blood strain “fluctuated severely”, mentioned the hospital.

In a press release issued by the hospital, it was mentioned that Rajinikanth was admitted within the morning hours and his blood strain confirmed extreme fluctuations that wanted additional analysis.

“He will be investigated and monitored closely in hospital till his blood pressure settles down before he can be discharged. Apart from fluctuating blood pressure and exhaustion he does not have any other symptoms and is hemodynamically stable,” the hospital mentioned.


According to the hospital, Rajinikanth examined destructive for the Coronavirus on December 22.


Rajinikanth was capturing for his film Annaatthe in Hyderabad for the final 10 days. A few folks on the movie units had examined positive for COVID-19. Rajinikanth examined destructive on December 22 and since then has been in isolation though being monitored carefully, the hospital mentioned.


“Though he did not have any symptoms of COVID-19, his blood pressure showed sever fluctuations and needed further evaluation for which he has been admitted to the hospital,” it mentioned in a press release.
