KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Rainfall is the forecast across the country until Saturday, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. The Department has also warned that snowfall and avalanches were more likely in the mountains and flash floods in small rivulets.
According to the Department, the change in weather pattern is due to the western disturbance from the Mediterranean region.
The western disturbance will move towards the east in the coming days, according to Shanti Kadel, a meteorologist at the DHM.
