KATHMANDU, June 18: The eastern part of Nepal is currently affected by the monsoon system, with the rest of the country partially influenced by a low-pressure area around Bihar, India, along with local effects.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is currently occurring in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Rainfall likely in Koshi and Karnali provinces
This afternoon, partly to mostly cloudy conditions will prevail over Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country is expected to remain mostly clear. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in the rest of the country, including Madhesh province.
Partly to mostly cloudy conditions will continue over Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces tonight.
