KATHMANDU, Aug 21: There is partial to moderate rain across the country with light to moderate rainfall including thunder and lightning in some places in Koshi and Bagmati provinces and a few places in the rest of the provinces.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in some places in all the provinces.
Rainfall likely in Koshi and Karnali provinces
There is also a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, there will be partial to normal rain over the country at night. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at some places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places in rest of the province.
Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and one or two places of Sudurpaschim province are also likely to receive heavy to very heavy rain.
