KATHMANDU, Sept 29: There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many parts of the country on Wednesday. Meteorologists at the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) said even though there will be no heavy rainfall in the second half of the monsoon, light rainfall takes place from time to time.
The northwestern part of the Bay of Bengal, West Bengal and the surrounding low pressure area have a general influence in Nepal. Currently, the low pressure line is slightly south of the average location.

Rainfall has occurred in some parts of the country this morning. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many places this afternoon and in a few places in the night, the MFD said.
