Quake-hit school gets new buildings

PANCHTHAR, April 9: A Germany-based organisation has assisted to construct two new buildings of the Mahadev Devkota Primary School in Phidim of Panchthar. The school lost its building in the last year's earthquake.


The Germany-based MJF Bonn provided Rs one million to help the school get new buildings. The construction of two new buildings cost Rs 1.4 million and remaining amount was managed from the monetary contributions from the locals, according to school principal Amar Kumar Tumbapo. RSS
