PSC in the process of re-application call after data loss

KATHMANDU, May 1: The Public Service Commission (PSC) is going to start the process of calling for re-application after the loss of the applicants’ data due to the problem in the server of the National Information Technology Center.



According to Toya Narayan Subedi, the spokesperson for the Commission, since the details of the applicants who applied in various advertisements in the months of Mangsir, Poush and Magh of the Nepali calendar last year are safe with the Commission, based on that, only the candidates who have already paid the fees will be given a reasonable time and they will not have to pay any additional fee.

The Commission said that it could not get access to the details of the applications submitted in the advertisement for the post of Branch Officer, Third Class (non-technical) published in Mangsir, the advertisement for the post of non-gazetted first class officials (non-technical) or its equivalent published in the national gazette in Poush, and for the post of non-gazetted first class officials (non-technical) or its equivalent published in the Gazette in Magh, and the fifth level post towards health services.


The commission issued a press release on Sunday and mentioned that the commission is in the process of revising the exam program of the advertisement and publishing the new exam schedule as soon as possible. The Commission's online system was blocked from March 7 due to a problem in the server of the National Information Technology Center.
