Public Procurement Monitoring Office blacklists two dozen companies

KATHMANDU, May 31: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted two dozen companies.


The College of Employment Pvt Ltd Bharatpur Chitwan, Pappu Construction, Koshi & Neupane Nirman Sewa and YP Construction are among those blacklisted companies.

College of Employment Pvt. Chitwan, where Mohan Neupane is the chief, has been blacklisted for three years on the recommendation of Rural Enterprise and Remittance Project Itahari under the Ministry of Industry.


Similarly, Pappu Construction Pvt Ltd led by Sumit Rauniyar and Koshi & Neupane Construction Services Pvt Ltd led by Bhavesh Bohora have been blacklisted for two years. These companies were recommended to be blacklisted by Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office Pokhara and Shaheed Marg Road Project Liwang Rolpa.


Likewise, on the recommendation of Pushpalal (Mid-hill) Highway Project Directorate and Pushpalal Highway Project Office Dailekh, Surendra Prasad Shrestha-led YP Construction Pvt Ltd Lalitpur has been blacklisted for one year and six months.


Blacklisted builders or suppliers are not allowed to participate in any procurement process of public bodies during the blacklisted period.
