KATHMANDU, July 27: The Kathmandu Valley Mayors' Forum has announced a public holiday for Sunday to mourn over the death of Kirtipur Municipality Mayor Raj Kumar Nakarmi.
The Mayors' Forum decided a public holiday coming Sunday at all local levels in the Kathmandu Valley to mourn Nakarmi's demise.

A statement issued by the Mayors’ Forum on Friday said that a public holiday would be in effect at all local levels of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur district on the passing away of Kirtipur Mayor Nakami.
Nakarmi was born on July 3, 1964. He is known as a development-loving social worker. He was elected to the post as a Nepali Congress (NC) candidate in the local election of 2079 BS.
