KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee, Ram Hari Khatiwada.
At a programme organised at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar on Monday, Chairman Khatiwada took the oath of office and secrecy before Speaker Ghimire.

Chairman Khatiwada was elected unopposed as Committee Chairman on September 5.
National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal, Deputy-Speaker Indira Ranamagar, NA Vice-Chairperson Bimala Ghimire, UML Chief Whip, Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress, Chairs of Parliamentary Committees and lawmakers were present on the occasion.
Chairman Khatiwada is scheduled to assume office on Monday itself.
