JANAKURDHAM, Aug 6: Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of Province 2 Gyanendra Yadav has tested positive for coronavirus.
During a test conducted on Wednesday evening, the provincial minister was found to have been diagnosed with coronavirus. He came back to the province after visiting Kathmandu last week. Minister Yadav had participated in a number of high-level meetings during his stay in Kathmandu. In one of pictures, the minister is being seen attending a meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as well.

However, Yadav had not experienced any coronavirus symptoms before being infected with with COVID-19.
The minister is currently in isolation at his official residence in Janakpurdham. After being diagnosed with coronavirus, the minister has urged one and all, who came into his contact in recent weeks, to undergo test for COVID-19.
Province 2 has recorded as many as 20 COVID-19 related deaths as of today. Likewise, 5,272 persons have already been infected with the novel coronavirus disease.
