KATHMANDU, June 14: Nepal Communist Party led by Biplav, Nepali Communist Party led by Rishi Ram Kattel and Nepal Communist Party (Revolutionary Maoist) jointly organized a protest rally at Shanti Batika, Ratnapark in the capital on Thursday.
The rally that started from Shanti Batika passed through Bagbazaar, Putalisadak, Exhibition Road, and Sundhara before converging into a corner meeting.
The participants shouted slogans demanding the government to withdraw the petro-price hike and take action against black-marketeers and the corrupt.
