The first round of the competition included introduction of the participants after which 12 were short listed for the semi finals. The 12 participants each answered questions from three judges; Bikash Rauniyar, Malina Joshi and Gyanendra Dhungana. [break]
For the last round of the competition, top five contestants were announced and were asked to write about their biggest strength by Chief Judge of the pageant and CEO of Mega Bank, Anil Shah.
The program also included performances by B-Boying group from Unique Dance Academy, 1st runner up of last year’s Miss Teen pageant Paridhi Sharma sang Kunti Moktan’s ‘Choli Ramro’ and Tshering Tamang gave a solo dance performance.

Chief Guest of the event Dr Baburam Pokhrel wished all the participants good luck and expressed that he is hopeful that the pageant will continue providing opportunities even in the future.
During the introduction round, the participants talked about their concerns and responsibilities towards the future. “I am glad that these kinds of platforms have given youths a medium to explore themselves,” he said.
At the end of the event, Priyanka Bhandari was declared Miss Global International 2012. She received a cash prize of Rs 200,000 and air tickets for abroad study.
Priya Sigdel and Sonu Thapa Magar were announced the first and second runner ups, and received cash prizes of Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively.
