KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Top female students pursuing hospitality and tourism at graduate level have been felicitated with Princess Jayanti Achievement Award on Friday.
The annual award given away by Hotel Annapurna recognizes the top three female achievers studying Tourism and Hotel Management at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM).
Chief Guest Prabhakar SJB Rana, who is chairman emeritus Soaltee Hotel and a former president of HAN inaugurated the event.
The first prize was awarded to Sabina Raut, while Sabita Ojha and Rojina Shakya won 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
According to a press statement released by Hotel Annapurna, the award is part of their corporate social responsibility with a focus on creating awareness and facilitating aid to underprivileged members of the society.
The Princess Jayanti Achievement Award is a tribute and a legacy to the wishes of the Late Princess Jayanti Shah.
