In collaboration with Arke Fly of the Netherlands, the President Group of Companies is launching special European package from October. The Dutch airline is resuming its Nepali flights also from October.
Bhola Bickram Thapa, chairman of President Group of Companies, said the six nights-seven days package for Europe will be available at just Rs 99,000 per person. The package includes all travel expenses, food and accommodation in some fascinating European cities.
"We have selected the Netherlands, Paris and Frankfurt for the package. We are studying the prospect of adding some more destinations," Thapa said.
Though some agencies used to provide European tour packages in the past, they were not much popular because of problem in getting visa in European nations. Now that the visa provisions have been made more liberal, the company hopes to sell package to good number of visitors.
President Group of Companies recently started offering tour packages to Europe and Turkey and Thapa said they are excited by the positive response. "Packaged tours like this have proved successful for handling a large number of people," Thapa added.
Apart from organizing inbound and outbound tours, the company is one of the established names in the industry when it comes to ticketing. The company is the general sales agent (GSA) of different airlines from Americas, Africa and Middle East. President Group of Companies holds GSA of Gulf Air, Qantas, United Airlines and Kenya Airways, among others.
Apart from head office in Kathmandu, the company has offices in Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Biratnagar and Janakpur.
"The internet technology has come as a boon for us. We can issue air tickets to anywhere in the world through our local offices," Thapa said.
President Group of companies is the local agent of Hahn Air that operates international aviation industry´s universal ET (E-ticketing) platform. More than 200 international airlines are affiliated to Hahn Air´s network.
"We have to come up with new ideas to survive in this competitive world of travel business. New innovations and technological advancements have made this sector more competitive and simplified the business process," Thapa added.
Along with international air tickets, people can even get train or bus tickets in different European countries from President Group of Companies.
The company is the official agent of Rail Europe. Rail Europe offers 30 percent discount to Nepali visitors booking tickets through President Group, according to Thapa. The company is also the member of Cox & Kings - one of the leading travel package providers in the world.
Thapa said President Group of Companies has over the years developed as a one-stop travel service provider in the country.
