INARUWA (SUNSARI), Nov 17: Preparations for Haribodhini Ekadashi Mela (fair) have been completed at Barahakshetra located in Barahkshetra Municipality-1 of Sunsari. The fair held every year at Barahakshetra Dham will be held this year from November 23 to November 27.
According to Bhakta Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of Barahakshetra Sangrakchan Manch, a sub-committee has been formed for the market, management of the Koshi River, electricity and drinking water for the fair.

Health-related responsibilities have been entrusted to the Barakshetra Sub-Health Post, while the Barahakshetra Temple Drinking Water Committee is in-charge of providing drinking water. The Barahakshetra Environmental Sanitation Organization has been assigned the task of ensuring cleanliness, and security measures are under the responsibility of the Barahakshetra Police Station and the Area Police Office, Chatara, Mahendranagar.
Shrestha said they have completed the installment of a bamboo fence to facilitate safe bathing in the river for devotees attending the fair, along with the necessary arrangements for lighting through the management of electricity. Ramesh Karki, the mayor of Barahkshetra Municipality, stated additional efforts such as setting up brooms, painting, temple decoration, and regular cleaning to enhance the overall experience of the fair.
