Preparation for 13th SAG over, says sports minister

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: The government has said that all the preparation for the upcoming 13th South Asian Games which is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu has been over.

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: The government has said that all the preparation for the upcoming 13th South Asian Games has been over. 


Speaking to the press in the capital on Thursday, Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Bishwakarma informed that all the preparations works related to management and games have been up to date.

According to the Bishwakarma, President Bidya Devi Bhandari will inaugurate the mega event amid a special function at Dasharat Stadium in the capital at 5 pm on December 1.


"Dignitaries from various countries will attend the ceremony, " said he adding, "Various cultural acts will also be performed on the occasion."
