BHOJPUR, Oct 26: A preliminary agreement was reached to keep nine local units in the district.
An all-party primary discussion was held in line with the recent circular of Local Body Restructuring Commission that called for the establishment of 5-9 local units, informed Local Development Officer Bhanu Bhakta Neupane.

LDO Neupane further noted that the final decision on the number of local units would be reached after discussing on the issue of boundary demarcation by November 5.
As there is no big apparant dispute among the political parties in the district on restructuring, the final decision would be made on mutual understanding, it is learnt.
Earlier, the political parties here have been demanding 13 local units in the district. RSS
