Prabhu Shah is a lawmaker from Aam Janata Party

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The Election Commission has sent a letter to the Parliament Secretariat stating that independent MP Prabhu Shah is an MP of the Aam Janata Party.

In the letter sent to the secretariat on Thursday, it is mentioned that the independent MP Prabhu Shah is an MP of the Aam Janta Party. The Aam Janta Party will have one seat in parliament. According to the law, a party that wins one seat will also get independent status.


Prabhu Shah, who ran as an independent candidate from Rautahat Constituency No 3, was elected. After he was elected, he registered the name of the new party as Aam Janata Party with the Election Commission. After his party was recognized by the Commission, a letter was sent to the Parliament Secretariat.
