KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ramchandra Poudel, general secretary Dr Sashanka Koirala and former vice president Prakash Man Singh have set up their separate office under the banner of "Samajik Loktantra Adhyayan Kendra" in the capital.

This was the same office the NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba used as his liaison office during the party's 13th general convention.

Now the Poudel-led NC faction, which is deeply miffed at unilateral decisions taken by the party president, has captured the same office. Interestingly, Nawaraj Bajgain, the brother of Nepali Congress youth leader Rajendra Bajgain, has been running a publication house called "Buddha Academy" in the same building.  The building belongs to Nawaraj Bajagain.

Rajendra Bajgain had contested the provincial assembly elections in 2017 from Gorkha.

He had also filed an application to the party office demanding action against Deuba for his support to the annual programs and policies unveiled by the Oli-led government in 2018.
