BIRATNAGAR, March 25: Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav has shared that the printing of ballot papers for the May 14 local elections was going on in high speed.
In a press meet organized by the Election Commission in Biratnagar today, Yadav urged all political parties to make it successful as the local poll will not be postponed at any cost.
He clarified that the EC removed the portion of Hindu State and Monarchy from the party statute of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party as it contradicted the constitution.
In response to journalists' query on holding federal and provincial elections at the same time, Yadav said that it would not be easy to hold the both elections at the same time. CEC Yadav said he was committed to implementing the election code of conduct. RSS
