Police uses force to disperse agitating lawyers from SC premises

KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Police have used force to disperse lawyers protesting against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana.

Agitating lawyers staged a sit-in in the Supreme Court premises on Thursday demanding the resignation of the Chief Justice. A bitter scuffle ensued between the two sides as police tried to disperse the agitating lawyers.

The protesting lawyers allegedly tried to enter the main building to obstruct the Chief Justice from entering the court.
