The District Police Office got the information that the trucks used an old declaration form and instead of the goods mentioned in the form, they smuggled clothes and other goods without paying the tax. When a team stopped the trucks heading to Chitwan to check them, the drivers left the vehicles and fled. The trucks were taken under control later and the police claimed that the goods in the truck did not match the declaration forms of the customs and the invoices were different as well.
