Police recover 18 kilos gold buried

KAILALI, Feb 14: Police have recovered 18 kilos of gold from Punarbaas Municipality- Dashrathbasti, Kanchanpur. The team of police from District Police Offices Kailali and Kanchanpur along with Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) recovered the gold interred under the land in the area near to Indian border, according to SP Aabhusan Timilsina, Chief of Kailali District Office.

SP Timilsina, however, said that the source of the gold is yet to be ascertained. He denied informing further citing that the investigation is still underway. Witnesses have said that police have nabbed two people along with the gold.
