Police make public man held with marijuana in Mahotari

MAHOTARI, April 22: Police have held one man along with legally banned drug ‘marijuana’ weighing 8.5 kg on charge of getting involved in the drug sale on Thursday evening in Mahotari.

MAHOTARI, April 22: Police have held one man along with legally banned drug ‘marijuana’ weighing 8.5 kg on charge of getting involved in the drug sale on Thursday evening in Mahotari.


The suspect has been identified as Bajarangi Kumar Shah aka Rajesh Shah, a local of Matihani-8.

Armed Police Force Border Outpost located in Mahotari district apprehended Shah, District Police Office Chief SP Raj Kumar Lamsal told Republica Online.


District Police Office in Mahotari made the alleged criminal public along with the drug in his possession amid press conference organized on Saturday.


The suspect Shah has been running a grocery shop in his home area for a long time.


Police detained him along with drug on Thursday evening and handed over him to District Police Office for necessary punishment process.


The drug was found inside plastic sacks during police search.
