KATHMANDU, Aug 22: The police have stated that the object found in Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu, is not a bomb as suspected earlier, and is harmless.
This morning, a report was received at the Balambu Police Post about a suspicious object found in the yard of a house near Balambu School in Chandragiri Municipality-12.

The local residents themselves reported the suspicious object to the police.
Upon receiving the report, a team of police and a Nepal Army bomb disposal team arrived at the scene and confirmed that the object was not a bomb and was harmless.
