KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Prime Minister Oli vowed to provide justice to the family of Nirmala Panta and Bhagarathi Bhatta at the earliest.
Addressing a mass gathering organized by his faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in Butwal on Saturday afternoon, Prime Minister said that those involved in rape and murder of Nirmala Panta and Bhagarathi Bhatta will soon be booked and put behind the bars,” he said.

On July 27, 2018, the 13-years old Panta was raped and murder in sugarcane feild near her house in Kanchanpur. Even if the government has been committing to provide justice to Panta and the family, those involved in that crime is still at large.
Similarly, Bhatta, a native of Baitadi was found dead a day after she went missing while returning home from school. Although police have launched extensive investigation into the incident, they are still clueless about the culprit behind her murder after alleged rape.
