KATHMANDU, March 15: Hard on the heels of his comrade-in-arms and Finance Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has come up with his own personal website, www.cmprachanda.com. [break]

The website, which is still being fine-tuned, gives details of his daily itinerary, breaking news, his addresses, interviews and photo gallery. It has contents in both Nepali and English languages.

While the PM´s personal secretariat is engaged in developing the website, his son Prakash has been supervising it. "Though we had been planning it for long, we had difficulties managing time," Prakash told myrepublica.com. "We are collecting rare speeches and photos of our father (PM) and collecting his old and important documents."

Prakash said it will take some time before the site is complete, pending its official launch.

A notice in Nepali on the left side of the webpage has asked the viewers to wait for some time until the final webpage is ready.

The website has already uploaded a photo of PM Dahal having a courtesy meeting with Ambassador of Turkey Levent Bilman on Monday, as the main photo of the page. Under "Today´s Schedules", the website has listed his meeting with the Turkish envoy at 9 am at his official residence, Baluwatar, PM´s meeting of the Army Integration Special Committee meeting at 12:30 pm and briefing of Local Development Ministry at 13:00.

The site has also listed his program of attending a reception hosted for Nepali and Sri Lankan footballers and talks between the government and Tharu community, on March 14.

In the photo gallery, the PM has posted his meeting with Turkish ambassador and Chinese President Hu Jintao, his meeting with Tharu community and photo session with Nepali footballers.

Finance Minister Dr Bhattarai had launched his personal website -- www.baburambhattarai.com -- on January 1 and it is already popular among journalists, well wishers and Nepalese communities abroad.
