According to the press advisor of the Prime Minister Surya Thapa, the probable candidates for the various ministerial positions from the UML are Raghu Bir Mahaseth, Bhanu Bhakta Jaisi, Urmila Aryal, Gokarna Bista and Yubaraj Karki or Naresh Kharel.
The UML are allocated the ministries of Finance, Defense, General Administration and Irrigation and Forest Ministry.
