Pm Koirala along with the chief of security agencies will also visit the district to take information regarding the Tikapur incident that occurred on August 7.
As many as seven security personnel and a toddler were killed in the incident. According to Area Police Office, Tikapur, PM Koirala will be taking the latest security situation of the district. According to a source, the PM will be arriving in the district at the request of the Nepal Army. District Administration Office (DAO) has lifted curfew till 3 pm today and the security of the district has been tightened in view of the arrival of the prime minister and chiefs of security agencies.
According to PM Press Advisor Prakash Adhikari, PM Koirala will return today itself to attend a meeting with political leaders.
Chief of Nepal Army, Rajendra Chhetri, is flying with PM Koirala whereas Chief of Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have already reached the incident site.
