TILOTTAMA, April 7: Former Finance Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) leader Barshaman Pun has said the incumbent government will bring the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.



Speaking at a press meet organised by Press Center province no. 5 chapter in Butwal today, he said Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' would leave the government only after the budget announcement despite an agreement on forming a new government under the Nepali Congress leadership following the local-level election.

Urging one and all not to have doubt over the holding of local election on the announced date (Mary 14), he said the preparations for the election neared the final phase. "There seems no reason for the postpone of election. Preparations are on the progress. It can't be halted under any circumstances."


According to leader Pun, a new constitution amendment proposal will be registered at the parliament by incorporating voices of the Madhes-centric parties, replacing the existing one.

The Maoist Center leader hinted the possibility of election alliance with other political parties considering the situation. RSS
