KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has inquired about the health condition of ailing CPN (Maoist Centre) leader, Barsha Man Pun.

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has inquired about the health condition of ailing CPN (Maoist Centre) leader, Barsha Man Pun.


Vice President Pun reached the Lalitpur-based Sumeru Hospital this morning to know the health status of leader Pun.


Deputy General Secretary of the Maoist Centre, Pun has been suffering from jaundice and his health condition is gradually improving now, Pun's secretariat shared.

Leader Pun was admitted to the hospital after he complained of health complications. He was airlifted to Kathmandu from his home town in Rolpa on Saturday following complications.


Earlier today, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel inquired about the health condition of leader Pun and wished him a speedy recovery.


On Tuesday, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had also met Pun and wished for his speedy health recovery.
