KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned to Kathmandu after a four-day official visit to China. Oli landed at 2 pm today on a special Himalaya Airlines chartered flight, with all other flights suspended prior to his arrival.
What Nepal can learn from China
During his visit to Beijing, PM Oli held meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Qiang, and other officials. Key agreements signed include the construction of the Tokha-Chhahare tunnel, promoting Nepal-China trade, and the export of buffalo meat to China. A BRI cooperation framework deal was also signed between the two countries.
PM Oli will hold a press conference at the airport to brief the public on the outcomes of his visit.
